Performance of the University of Toronto Infrasizer MK 3 as a Monosizer and Multi-Cut Classifier

For free-flowing spherical particles in the range tested (50 to 230 micrometers), the performance, both as a multi-cut device and in monosize production, is excellent. The sharpness of cut index is only a few percent higher than the ideal value of 1.00 and monosize fractions can be produced with standard deviation about 4% of the average diameter.
