Homing performance comparison of selected airframe configurations using skid-to-turn and bank-to-turn steering policies

摘要

The impact of airframe lift capability and of autopilot and guidance filter response times was evaluated. Some comparisons are made with skid to turn steering. It is shown that bank to turn steering can provide acceptable performance provided sufficient bank rates can be tolerated.
