A New Combustion System for Burning Light Distillate Fuel Oil

A controllable small air blast burner unit was developed which works well in the power range necessary for an optimum operation with regard to the overall efficiency of a residential heating system. The polluant emissions, CO as well as NO are low. Due to the nature of the system the air pressure drop is far above that of conventional domestic burners. Present development of the combustion system is mainly directed towards a reduction of the air pressure drop and the amount of excess air.
