摘要

Binary images can be encoded by using chain codes. Three programs are described for coding and decoding images using the entity raster chain (RC) code. Creating segments, creating objects, storage structure, and object hierarchy are discussed. Coding objects, generating the border of an object, and generating whole objects from RC code are explained.
