Project Cockpit Instruments and Human Engineering as Part of a Joint Research Program on Aircraft Guidance and Control at the Technical University of Brunswick

Human factors engineering relating to aircraft cockpit instrumentation is discussed. Display systems, control equipment, and the improvement of human factors engineering assessment methods and procedures were the focal points of the investigation. Pilot stress and vision measurement are described in detail.
