摘要

The least mean squares gradient search method was used to provide real-time analysis of biomedical data from the human gastrointestinal tract and from processed ECG signals providing heart rate variability (HRV) time series. The microprocessor based computing and results display system is described. Suggested uses include detection of migrating myoelectrical complexes in the stomach, the study of thermoregulatory and other influences on HRV, and for monitoring the progress of Reynaud's disease during treatment.
