摘要

It is shown that any polynomial Pn(x) satisfying a linear ordinary differential equation can be represented as the determinant of an explicit nxn matrix linear in the variable x and containing n arbitrary parameters. Analogous representations exist for polynomials satisfying linear recursion relations.
