摘要

The effect of charge trapping on the resolution of the Pockels readout optical modulator was analyzed according to Owechko and Tanguay (1979 to 1980). The variation of sensitivity and resolution is examined as a function of spatial frequency and charge separation. The model of Owechko and Tanguay is modified to solve the geometry of the liquid crystal light valve using bismuth silicon oxide as the photoconductor. The appropriate differential equations are set up and solved and the variation of sensitivity and resolution is examined as a function of symmetric and asymmetric charge location and spatial frequency.
