Regression Analysis: Assumptions, Alternatives, Applications

摘要

The use of a regression model to summarize the reaction of the output of a simulation program to changes in the input is considered. The applicability, testing, and alternatives to six assumptions are discussed: a non-singular matrix of independent variables; a regression model with linear parameters; responses with constant variances; independent responses; normally distributed responses; and a valid or correctly specified regression model.
