Experiments were conducted to study the characteristics and the growth of an axisymmetric turbulent boundary layer on the central cylindrical portion of a model in the presence of a circular arc forebody, an afterbody and a high pressure cold air jet issuing from the base. An 80mm Max. dia model was tested at the freestream velocities of 12.8 and 21.5 m/sec and at jet pressure ratios of 1.0 (jet-off), 1.26 and 1.54. The results of the experimental study are described.
