摘要

Numerical simulations of three cases of Alpine lee cyclogenesis were carried out using an isentropic coordinate model developed by Bleck (1984). Two dynamical effects, i.e., the advection of potential vorticity by a penetrating jet streak in the upper troposphere and advection of cold air at low levels can be traced during the model simulations and seem to play an important role for the cyclonic developement in the lee of the Alps.
