Implementation of the Twente University Multiprocessor (TUMULT)-15 Network Interface for the VME Bus

The implementation of a multiprocessor interconnection network is presented. The implemented network inteconnects up to 15 processing elements in a ring topology. All the processing elements are identical and autonomous, which means that each element has its own private memory and a copy of a local operating system. Each processing element is built up from standard VME-bus compatible modules. Implementation of the interface between the TUMULT network and the VME-bus is described.
