摘要

A finite difference method solving the three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations is outlined. The hybrid implicit/explicit algorithm is a modification of the implicit scheme of Beam and Warming. Supersonic flow is simulated to verify the code. The results are compared with those of an axisymmetric code and with experiment. According to the experiment the whole flow field is laminar in the considered region. It is shown that the pressure distribution and the temperature or heat flux distributions are well predicted on the body surface.
