Generalized Frequency Response for Nonlinear Systems

摘要

A frequency response for a nonlinear system in terms of the response of the system to a set of standard inputs which form a basis of L sup 2 (0, infinity) is introduced. The theory is illustrated in the linear, bilinear, and general nonlinear cases. A realization theory is presented in terms of the multidimensional Laplace transform. The method may be developed in a variety of ways, particularly in the design of nonlinear filters.
