摘要

When a cylindrical plasma produced along a uniform magnetic field is shaped into a sheet plasma (the Uramoto-type sheet plasma) by arranging two rectangular permanent magnets, a local voltage above 30 V is generated between the cylindrical plasma and the sheet plasma, and it accelerates electrons, producing an electron beam sheet. Consequently, a H(-) ion current extracted from outside the sheet plasma increases dramatically. From this experimental fact, researchers expect that vibrationally excited H2 molecules are produced by the high density, high energy (greater than 30 eV) electron beam sheet.
