Securing the Time Scale of the Navex Reference Clock and Rate Determinations by Time Comparisons with the Help of the Global Positioning System (GPS)

It is shown that the method of time comparison by GPS is a powerful tool. Experimental results of time comparisons between UTC and an atomic clock are presented. The difference with the method of clock transportations is shown by four examples. The results of syntonization between the reference clock and a clock at Cape Canaveral are summarized.
