摘要

An anomalous increase of the electrical resistivity (p) in the initial period of aging of Cu-Fe (0.52 or 2.46 wt percent) alloys was ascribed to clustering of supersaturated Fe atoms in the process of quenching alloys and resolidifying of smaller clusters which were ones at higher temperatures. This anomalous increase of p(delta p) was observed when the aging temperature (T sub a) was greater than 550 deg, was more distinct at higher temperatures, was inversely proportioned to the cooling rate, and temperature in the quenching process. Typical values of delta p at T sub a = 600 and 700 deg were 0.1 and 0.2 microohms cm respectively. Delta p was also proportional to the specimen diameter. The anomalous delta p caused by plastic deformation of alloys (2.46 wt percent of Fe) was not explanable solely in terms of clustering and transformation of Fe atoms.
