Fault Detection Using Optimal Control Techniques

摘要

The possibility of using optimal control techniques for fault diagnosis isinvestigated. Two techniques are used. The performance index is used to identify the abnormal behavior in any subsystem of the Loss Of Fluid Test (LOFT) reactor, a small scale pressurized water reactor, and the faulty controller of the LOFT reactor is identified using the Pontryagin maximum principle.
