A numerical code is elaborated to solve chemical and vibrational nonequilibriumviscous flow problems. Transport properties, thermodynamic functions, chemical kinetics, vibrational relaxation and dissociation-vibration coupling are analyzed and used as physical models. They are used in the numerical analysis of equations involved in hypersonic flow for various nozzle and reentry body configurations. Quasi monodimensional Euler results are presented for the nozzles R6 and F4. Axisymmetric Navier-Stokes results for the flow around a sphere cylinder, and around a hyperboloid are detailed. The results are in good agreement with theoretical calculations.
