摘要

Flute interchange stability of the tandem mirror GAMMA 10 with a minimum-B MHDanchor is studied numerically. The stability criterion in beta value is obtained and its axial pressure profile dependence is also analyzed. It is shown that the anchor beta value for stability is reduced when the axial localization of a mirror trapped hot plasma becomes narrower in the central cell and/or in the anchor cell.
