Coordinating Council. Ninth Meeting: Total Quality Management

This report summarizes the 9th meeting of the STI Coordinating Council. Thecouncil listened to the speakers' understanding of Total Quality Management (TQM) principles and heard stories of successful applications of these principles. Definitions of quality stated were focused on customer satisfaction. Reports presented by the speakers are also included.
