摘要

A cooling-correlation equation was obtained based on the average temperature of the exhaust-valve seats of a large double-row radial engine. The exhaust-valve seat was chosen as the basis for the correlation because endurance tests have shown it to be the critical region of this engine cylinder. From this correlation equation predictions may he made of the cooling-air pressure drop required to cool the critical region of the cylinders.
