摘要

A procedure is presented for the design of two-dimensional channels for compressible nonviscous flow. The method requires boundary conditions consisting of the shape of one channel sur¬face and the velocity distribution on that surface. The process consists of the step-by-step computation of an arbitrary number of streamlines within the channel. Two variations of the method are presented: one variation is based on an assumed constant stream¬line curvature along an equipotential line, and the other is based on an assumed vortex-type variation. Tables for the use of both methods are presented for a range of Mach numbers and values of the ratio of specific heats.
