Eight possible fuel distributor arrangements for distributing fuel equally to a plurality of spray nozzles are presented and analyzed with emphasis on meeting fuel-system requirements of fuel-distribution accuracy, spray-nozzle pressure variations, and fuel-system pressures. The experimental performance of three distributors are discussed. Data are presented for a fuel distributor model distributing 19.5 to 862 pounds per hour of fuel to each of 10 spray nozzles with a maximum deviation of 3.3 percent from equal distribution. Methods for distributing wider ranges of fuel-flow rates are included.
