The Aerodynamics of the Cooling of Aircraft Reciprocating Engines

This monograph gives an account of the work done at the Royal Aircraft Establishment during the period 1939-1946 on the aerodynamics of cooling. Reference is also made to work performed by the Bristol Aeroplane Co. and to information of overseas origin. It is divided into 12 chapters each dealing with a specific part of the general problem. These chapters do not give the whole of the work done but show in a general way the historical progress and indicate the present opinion.
