摘要

This report documents a Horizontal Takeoff Vehicle Three-Dimensional Trajectories computer program which performs a mission analysis of a specified mission by a given horizontal takeoff vehicle operating in a three-dimensional inertial reference frame with lifting flight. Calculations of takeoff, climbout, minimum fuel profile, dynamic pressure limit flight, engine pressure limit flight, zoom, and second stage are available as desired. Targeting to the desired end velocity, altitude, and flight path angle is accomplished by an iterative calculus of variations method. Range, azimuth, fuel utilization, latitude, and longitude data throughout the mission are provided. The program is written in FORTRAN II language and is presently operational on the CDC 3200 computer.
