An Assessment of Frederal Government Involvement

The members of the Committee on Aircraft Operations were selected to bring to the discussion all aspects of aero nautical operations in an effort to assure that no bias existed toward one particular civil aeronautical field. The chairman and vice chairman, both members of the ASEB, brought to the committee their experience as private pilots and their expertise in the fields of research and development and transport, corporate, and rotary-wing aircraft manufacturing. Advisers included experts in the fields of research and development, long-range passenger transport and cargo operations, private and executive aircraft manufacturing, domestic airline operations, corporate flight operations, airline system planning, and space systems.
