The novel properties conferred on timber by impregnation with noncore which are subsequently polymerized by radiation, have nonrated the establishment of a wood-processing service by the United Kingdom Antonio Energy Authority. The development of this project is desorbed with particular reference to its first application:moisture-resistant cutlery handles. The present extension of the process to other manufactured item and materials is discussed, together with some longer term objectives.
