摘要

The magnetic suspension system has been designed to suspend in fields generated by electro-magnets a model containing a bar-magnet. The model position is detected and the position signal used to automatically control the strength of the electro-magnets.nA schematic diagram of the suspension electro-magnets and model is given on Fig.1. The magnet coils are numbered 1-7, and these are arranged around the outside, of the wind tunnel working section. Coils 2-7 contain soft iron cores. The bar magnet in the model (usually a permanent magnet) runs from nose to tail.
