An investigation into various surface singularity models in connection with lifting surface research has also produced a surface vorticity method for the solution of the two-dimensional potential flow problem.nIn this interim report on the method the basic features are briefly discussed in relation to existing surface singularity methods. Pressure distributions predicted by the method are compared with the exact distributions for several aerofoil sections.
