ON THE SUPERPROPAGATOR OF FIELDS WITH EXPONENTIAL COUPLING

We define the vacuum expectation value of the time-ordered product of two exponentials of free fields as a distribu-tion using minimal singularity as a criterion. The impli-cation of this definition for an exponentially self-coupled scalar field is studied in second-order of a perturbation expansion.
