Conditions for obtaining a radiocrystallographic diagram by means of X-ray pulses were studied. Emphasis was given to the Laue transmission diagram which was obtained by an X-ray pulse with a duration of 300 nanoseconds and using a high sensitivity photographic film. An avaporization of an aluminum single crystal by the exploding wire method is shown. Application of the Bragg law is also tried: monochromatic X radiation is reflected on reticulated plans in a crystal of sodium chloride. The advantage of this method is the relative brightness of the refracted image. Experimental results gained by the powder method are presented. More than one hundred X radiation pulses are necessary for a Debye-Scherer diagram. This method cannot be used for pulse radiography unless a light amplifier is used. (Author)
