We have studied the solubility of Tc(4) and Np(4) hydrous oxides in aqueous solution as a function of pH and carbonate concentration. The solid phases used were prepared by electro-reduction and precipitation on platinum electrodes. The implications on the speciation and mobility of Tc(4) and Np(4) in groundwater, as well as those of U(4) and Pu(4), are discussed. (Atomindex citation 25:019216)
