Investigation of the properties of aluminium alloys used in the construction of nuclear research reactors

In the paper there are described the results of the studies of the properties of aluminium alloys using in the construction of research reactors, especially of the Polish alloy PAR-1 which belongs to the group of Al-Mg-Si alloys. The influence of the heat treatment on structure of the alloy as well as on the mechanical and corrosion properties was studying.
