Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is an explicit and powerful model of human experience and communication which can be instrumental in designing pragmatic visual displays. It is a new approach to interacting with humans, based on modeling and outcomes. The original creators of NLP studied people who were successful in outcomes with their patients and modeled what these people did. Over sixteen years, the technique has crossed over into law, politics, business and education. The intended use that is described in this paper is focused on the human factor aspect and visual display designs.
