Structural evaluation of Tank 241-AN-107 internal components for caustic addition mixing operations

The purpose of this report is to evaluate the structural adequacy of the in-tank components for the additional loads imposed by the operation of the mixing pump. Two load condition's are considered. The normal operating load condition is comprised of the pump-induced hydraulic forces under steady-state conditions and the deadweight of the components. This also includes the forces from the flow-induced vibrations at resonance conditions. The extreme load condition is defined to be the normal operating load condition plus the.seismically-induced forces, including the forces resulting from sloshing of the tank's contents. An evaluation of the tank risers and dome structure is not within the scope of this report.
