For an arbitrary non-commutative local ring we study the lattice of subgroups of the special linear group SL(sub n)(R) of degree n(>=) 3 over R containing the group SD(sub n)(R,J) of ''diagonal mod J'' matrices, where J = J(R) is Jacobson radical of R.
