摘要

A semi-analytic theory of (K, KN) and ((pi) (pi)N) reactions enabling large basis (microscopic) models of nuclear structure to be employed in correlation analyses is developed. The energy range for validity is outlined and expressions for the transition amplitudes using a modified nuclear density profile and in the plane wave limit are also presented. These proved a computationally efficient method for preliminary investigations of such reactions. 18 refs., 4 figs. (Atomindex citation 26:023098)
