On-Line Testing of Calibration of Process Instrumentation Channels in Nuclear Power Plants. Phase 2, Final Report

The report presents the results of a comprehensive research and development program to develop and validate a new technique for remote testing of calibration of process instrumentation channels in nuclear power plants. This technique can be used to verify the calibration of instrument channels (including the field sensors) while the plant is on-line. The method is simple and passive, uses the existing plant instrumentation, and includes the effects of process operating conditions on the calibration of the instruments.
