Missing doublet multiplet as the origin of the doublet-triplet splitting in SUSY SU(6)

In a SU(6) gauge theory, we found the irreducible representation which does not contain the Higgs doublet. In a supersymmetric SU(6) theory, two models in which the doublet-triplet splitting occurs naturally are constructed. The crucial role in the doublet-triplet splitting is played by the scalar content of the theory as well as the SU(2)(sub H) global and Z(sub 3) or R symmetries. In the one of the models, the correct 'mu-term' with mu approximately 10 GeV is obtained. (author). 8 refs. (Atomindex citation 27:046275)
