Innovative Technology Development Program. Final summary report

The Innovative Technology Development (ITD) Program was established as a part of the DOE Research Development, Demonstration, Testing, and Evaluation (RDDT&E) Program. The plan is part of the DOE's program to restore sites impacted by weapons production and to upgrade future waste management operations. On July 10, 1990, DOE issued a Program Research and Development Announcement (PRDA) through the Idaho Operations Office to solicit private sector help in developing innovative technologies to support DOE's clean-up goals. This report presents summaries of each of the seven projects, which developed and tested the technologies proposed by the seven private contractors selected through the PRDA process.
