摘要

A model for the separation of CO(sub 2) from a mixture of CO(sub 2) and N(sub 2) using aqueous solutions of diethanolamine (DEA) as a reactive absorbent has been developed for a particular type of RAPSAB cycle (mode 3). The numerical simulations of the model compare well with the experimental results. In addition, the separation of CO from N(sub 2) was studied using a 0.4 M Cu(sub 2)Cl(sub 2) in 2M KCl solution as an absorbent.
