Selecting computer models and input parameters for analysis of environmental impacts

Computer models are powerful tools for analyzing complex impacts on air quality, groundwater quality, human health, and ecological resources. This paper examines some of the challenges involved in using computer models for environmental impacts analysis. The paper presents approaches for helping technical specialists and managers work together and assure that the modeling process is effective.
