Microgravity survey of the Oak Ridge K-25 Site, Oak Ridge, Tennessee

摘要

This report discusses the results of a microgravity survey of the Oak Ridge K-25 Site. The main objective of the survey is to identify areas containing bedrock cavities. Secondary objectives included correlating the observed gravity to the geology and to variations in overburden thickness. The analysis includes 11 profile lines that are oriented perpendicular to the geologic strike and major structures throughout the K-25 Site. In addition, data from the K-901 area are combined with data from previous surveys to produce a high resolution map of that site.
