Computer Codes for Evaluation of Control Room Habitability (HABIT)

This report describes the computer codes for evaluation of control room habitability (HABIT). HABIT is a package of computer codes designed to be used for the evaluation of control room habitability in the event of an accidental release of toxic chemicals or radioactive materials. Given information about the design of a nuclear power plant, a scenario for the release of toxic chemicals or radionuclides, and information about the air flows and protection systems of the control room; HABIT can be used to estimate the chemical exposure or radiological dose of control room personnel. HABIT is an integrated package of several programs that previously needed to be run separately and required considerable user intervention.
