We discuss the prospects for observing the mass of (rho)- and (omega)- mesons around nuclear matter density by studying their coherent photoproduction in nuclear targets and subsequent in-medium decay into e(sup +)e(sup -)pairs. The quantum interference of (rho) and (omega)-mesons in the e(sup +)e(sup -) channel and the interference between Bethe-Heitler pairs and dielectrons from vector meson decays are of particular interest.
