Revision of the BWR and PWR pilot studies with compact CET models

The report discusses a revision of the PSA Level 2 pilot studies of the Finnish Centre for Radiation and Nuclear Safety (STUK). The containment event tree (CET) models developed for the TVO and Loviisa units are modified and extended to make them more suitable for comparison purposes. The report describes the model changes and their influence on the CET results. The most important limitations of the compact CET models are also pointed out. The revised CET models can be employed in reviews of the Level 2 PSA analyses performed by the utilities. (14 refs.). (Atomindex citation 28:037573)
