Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) has developed and continues to develop solutions to Aims the challenges associated with nuclear and hostile environments. The nuclear challenge and in general, most hostile environments present unique conditions requiring new approaches and techniques. Solutions used in controlled or conventional environments am limited in the highly volatile nuclear environment. Engineax at LLNL have been actively involved in finding unique and creative intelligent automation solutions. We have made significant advances in automation control theory, nuclear material handling processes, robotics systems, and sensors technology.
