摘要

On design investigation on underground disposal facility of high level radioactive waste, it is required (1) to secure safety of underground cavity through working periods of its construction, operation and closure, (2) to conduct countermeasure of heat emitted by the waste, and (3) to control geological environment as well as possible not so as to be disturbed by construction, operation and closure of the facility. This report relates to analytical investigation on effect of heat emitted by radioactive waste. Hitherto, as some thermal analyses were conducted, they were under limited conditions and could not give an index for establishment of plane lay-out. Therefore, together with investigation on analytical codes and conditions, thermal conduction analysis of near-field by using three dimensional finite element method was executed at an aim of approximate establishment of plane lay- out in the transverse arrangement system of disposal road.
