Large applications and challenges of state-of-the-art superconducting RF (SRF)211 technologies

Various applications of superconducting radio-frequency (SRF) accelerating211u001estructures in many fields around the world are introduced. These applications 211u001econsist of high energy physics, nuclear physics, free electron lasers, energy 211u001eamplifiers, nuclear materials and the treatment of radioactive wastes. A review 211u001eof recent development of SRF technologies is presented. The authors also briefly 211u001ediscuss the future prospects of SRF technologies and applications.
